Forums - Gaming Discussion - What does (vf) means? French version?

For example,

I believe it means that all the game text is in French, though I'm not totally sure about that.

In any case, the product link is shouting "YES!" so it must be awesome in some degree.

I was wondering if (vf) means English and French. I am almost sure it's in French.

vf = version française in french
so
french version in english

==> the voice are in french (movie)

vosfr = Original Voice and Subtitle in FRench

Time to Work !

Since it's from amazon.ca, I assume that the game is in french and english. Actually, aren't all North American game in both french and english?

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Yeah, what I mean is that I think the game is only in French.  I remember a depressing encounter with an all-French version of A Link to the Past many years ago.

Actually, I just looked at my Phantom Hourglass box and it says "Includes French language game content". So you're probably okay!
