after playing the demo I suspected as much. Sad but no big surprise. Saved me 60E.

nabuhay!!!
It's a shame that the title has failed, well at least by IGN. Famitsu gave it a fairly good score, then I saw another site that didnt give it such a great one and another that gave it an 8. The reviews are so mixed! What's going on!?
As for me, I didn't plan on getting it anyway. My hopes weren't too high for it. But I didn't think it would do so bad that IGN would give it 4.5. I was expecting something like 6 to 7.
wow good! 4.5 out of 5, another AAA title confirmed!
huh? 10 is full mark?! #@$%#!$#

So the game is as generic and unimpressive as it looked like? No huge loss to anyone, since it's a horribly crowded genre with a lot of genuinely exceptional titles released recently, as well as scheduled for the rest of the year.

Maybe my perception is wrong, but I've seen Haze hyped as a Halo Killer, PS3's Halo and similar things. People were getting pretty excited with the promise of awesome co-op, new gameplay elements like the drugs and blah blah. Regarding Killzone 2, all I'm saying is let's wait and see. I'm pretty sure the graphics will be great, as for the gameplay it looks like another run of the mill FPS (which I enjoy playing at times, but I wouldn't hype without being sure).

Actually, David Doak of Free Radical called it "the ps3's answer to Halo this holiday season" last July, when the game was still set to release last Fall.
Everybody else, for the most part, hasn't been too excited about the game. Just read through this thread from a few weeks before the demo hit. Aside from the occasional guy going "it's free radical!1!!", reactions to the new footage seemed rather tepid.
:O
wow, I still am going to pick this game up. It looks awesome plays awesome and deserves my $60.
Regardless of what reviews say I'm going to buy it. I have a itch for some reason to own it and I want to play it. So IGN or any other reviewer can really STFU!!
Other than that, what they reviewed Haze, was shocking. I expected the game to go in the high 6 or 7.
The score automatically stopped me from reading the review altogether :(
But I will be buying Haze :D
Okey Dokey, that's the funniest moving gif I saw in a LONG time.
Tears in my eyes, seriously.
