Too hyped? This game has been getting "meh" reactions from FPS fans and journalists alike ever since the first time gameplay was shown. The only reason anybody hyped this was because they had faith in Free Radical, and even those people were few and far between.

Killzone 2, however, has recieved positive reactions because everyone who's played it has really enjoyed it, and it looks awesome. We already know the graphics will be stellar (something IGN knocked Haze heavily for), and the story should be pretty good as well, as it was one of the areas in which Killzone and Killzone: Liberation did quite nicely.


Maybe my perception is wrong, but I've seen Haze hyped as a Halo Killer, PS3's Halo and similar things. People were getting pretty excited with the promise of awesome co-op, new gameplay elements like the drugs and blah blah.

Regarding Killzone 2, all I'm saying is let's wait and see. I'm pretty sure the graphics will be great, as for the gameplay it looks like another run of the mill FPS (which I enjoy playing at times, but I wouldn't hype without being sure).

I want a 2nd opinion too. Some of his complaints sound like what the developers were going for. Maybe it wasn't a game for him.

A lot of people were looking forward to this game. I'm not one of them, but to post about how funny it is that a game sucks is just uncalled for. "I'm just in it for the LOLZULZLZLZZZZZZ." Whatever. How many other games have you been excited about because they received a low score?


You seem worked up over something. Take a little time out eh.

In any case, you've obviously never visited Gamespot's system wars forum. When something like this happens, the whole place melts down. It's quite entertaining to watch it all pan out.
