lol, well if you want to get jabby, go ahead. I'l just start playing some RPG's on my 360 elite with little chance of RROD, while you continue to put aside some great rpg's because you think they are not worth playing due to hardware. Stupid.

OHHH I get it, Loud is for the 360 fans shouting their joy at the amount of AAA titles they have, Hot refers to how hot the games list looks compared to the PS3's and white box is because... the 360 comes in a white box?
Sorry PS3 fans, had to take a jab, this guys post for the sake of bagging the 360 gets annoying.
On Topic: PS3 hasn't been around for that long, the games library will fill up in time (that includes both AAA, Quality RPG's and Shovelware). So I wouldn't worry about the lack of RPG's just yet.

It really made me redefine what I expect from a next gen game of any genre, and the short stories moved me emotionally like few games do. I'm not finished with it yet, but I'm far enough in where I can say, if a game can make you tear up, LO will make will meet that level of emotion. Don't miss is, this is the best new JRPG series since TWeWY or Symphonia. |

Is it really good? I started it, got kind of a meh feeling, and then never got around to picking it back up. I still haven't sold it yet but maybe I'll start it again.
no need to worry ps3 will probably get the most jrpg due to the blu ray(great for cut scenes, they take alot space) and the fact that the 360's installment base is just to small in japan. alot jrpgs to the wii also i suspect.

Man you guys are so sad xD How fast has ANY console been to get out a shitload of RPG's? Lesse, the PS3's been out what, a year and a half? How many badass RPG's came out the 360's first year and a half? Aside from Oblivion, did ANY? How about the Wii? Oh wait that's right no one could predict how amazing the sales would be and Nintendo obviously didn't bother lining any up for you by maybe publishing a title here and there?
The PS3 will have more than it's fair share of RPG's you can count on that. They take time to make and when all these people who bought a PS3 for rpg's actually goes out and ummm buys these upcoming RPG's, developers will have no concern as to what platform to make them on x.x

People bought a PS3 for RPG? I mean, don't they know that RPG takes time to get release (you said so yourself) so why not wait until the RPG get out and the PS3 drop in price?

To add to that, the XBox360 has been out for 2.5 years and has had what, 3 mediocre RPGs released? The PS3 will have done a GREAT job of catching up the the XBox360's year head start if FF 13 gets released early next year and WKS gets released late this year.

Because Sony's consoles pretty much got massive scale popularity because of the Genre, and it seems like a genre of games they're pretty committed to.
PS1 > RPG's
PS2 > RPG's
PS3 > ??? (following "trend" history I'm sure we can wager a guess"
I even consider the PSP to be my RPG handheld of choice. Most of this site will beg to differ but I've played some fantastic RPG's on the PSP and I see no signs of slowing lol. It's my favorite genre on the PSP by a landslide thus far :P
