Wait until you see Crash Bandicoot : The Wrath Of Cortex

I remember waiting over a whole minute once D:

As for Finding Nemo, the PS2 version had no problematic load times.

Obviously not all games work like that because there are some botched PC games that aren't as good as the console version

I have the impression that its pretty even handed. Games that were developed for PC and ported to console often suck on the console and vice versa. But I had the impression that console games have less load time on consoles than PC games on Pc. My impression.

To continue with the Orange Box criticism, I'm going to nominate Half-life 2 on the PC.

Why? You expect long loading times from shitty games, but not a masterpiece like HL2. This is the only real complaint I have of the game, so it really sticks out. =P

I think that this was true only when the game first came out. I remember playing it the day it was availble and I waited very large amounts of time. Soon after the launch, an update fixed the loading time problem (building my own computer with better parts than my parents computer also helped, not to mention recently upgrading those parts last October helped as well).

This is why I said I have a console so I can have a better experience on either the console or PC. I haven't seen Prey on the 360, but F.E.A.R, The Orange Box, and Oblivion are three games that I have that I feel are better on the PC compared to trying/watching them on consoles.

Then, there is also the keyboard and mouse for those types of games, but that's a personal thing.

Thats no personal thing: Keyboard&Mouse are the input controls god himself invented for first person games and everything else is at best a bad imitation.

Well good, I didn't know your stance on it and I didn't want to detract from the on topic discussion with an off topic 'input war' about which input method was better.

I think the PSP Slim helps things out a bit. There was a Crisis Core comparison between the regular and slim PSP's and the loading times were MUCH better on the slim.

Dead Rising, it loads each area. The real annoying thing is if you are trying to rescue someone and the AI leaves them in the past area. You have to see another loading screen to go back to the area. My favorite load screen that takes about 25 seconds is when you are playing and then you are interrupted by the game going to 7:00 PM.

Also the GTA loads are insanely long. GTA 4 initial loading takes long. After that it is smooth but the older GTA games as you went to each area it takes long to load each area.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

Online IDs: PSN: computermaximus, XBL: computermaximus

moterstorm one of the reasons ive only played in about 4 times since ive had the console.

That and it bored the shit outta me.
