Forums - Gaming - Do you feel sad when you beat a good/great game?

no.. if the game is good enough, I'll replay it and go for the extra's and stuff.. and if it's got a great multiplayer, it's never finished

It's funny that this topic just came up now. :) I just finished Phoenix Wright 3 tiachopvutru! And I do agree, I'm kind of sad that there's not more interaction with these characters left for me, but I'm definitely looking forward to the Edgeworth focused version coming out soon! Plus, there's Apollo Justice to tide me over until then, I guess.

But yes, to the original topic, it depends on the game. Adventure games and games with epic stories, I always miss the characters afterwords. Games like Geometry wars, it's more of a sense of pride, because you've finished all of the levels, etc. Either way, I seem to always want more. ;)

I was so close to tears when I beat Orcarina of Time. So close.

Same. But I did come to tears

I hate to beat good games, I wish some of them would go on forever, like FEAR and Uncharted.

Yeah.

Which is why I say a good game could never be too long.

Sure lots need to end without going on. However that doesn't mean you can't have more then one plot.

I feel that way mostly with RPG's. It has happened to me with every Tales games and the Baten Kaitos games. It is a sad and horrible feeling.

I had a stroke when I beat Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, my blood clotted up when I beat FF7, and an enormous tumor grew out of my heart when I beat both at the same time.

I like beating games. But then I'm bored and need more.

Except in case of games like Disgaea that give you so much to do even after you beat the game, that I know I'll never really finish them.

No , there is another or 50 right next me to start playing.

I actually didn't want to beat kh2 the story was so epic.I was hesitating whenever or not beat it that day.But in the end I beat it but I wanted more,I wanted to be able to play the sequel.Same as with SMG I want a sequel, but I will have to wait for a few years =(
