Haze, the new exclusive shooter for the PlayStation 3, releases in both Japan and North America next week, and the latest issue of Famitsu gives the game a gold award, with the overall score of 34/40.

The four reviewers all praise the different play styles of the ally troopers and the enemy army, with both sides having interesting strengths and weaknesses. Global online play, an interesting scenario mode, and beautiful graphics are all mentioned as positives for the western-developed game. However, most of the reviewers complain that the event scenes feature too much shaking. The game is recommended to sci-fi fans and FPS players of all levels.

Haze will be a big hit for the PS3, i think it will sell 1m copies within 1/2 months of release and get a review average of 90%+

Back on topic, I am guessing this game will have long legs cause I think most people are unsure of it and also saving up for MGS4. I love playing the demo, but I wont be able to purchase Haze for a few months (once im done with MGS).

This game is going to be good, i just wish Sony would learn how to advertise because since the ps3 has been out they have never really marketed that well

 Not true, Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank were marketed well and the sales of those two games show relative to the userbase of the PS3

 Im sorry but this game has been advertised a lot. Every time I see a nba playoff game, the comerical comes on, it also comes on comedy central often  

Yeah, Haze commercials are everywhere.

Haze has gotten a fair amount of hype. I would be suprised if this game doesn't sell atleast 1 million copies. Personally, I am not interested in Haze since I have other games to play and MGS4 comes out soon.

What I like about this game is that you can play 4 players online or split screen, coop or vs, and its so easy to jump in and out of the game while playing with other people. Also there is no load times.
