Once you go firefox you can't really go back , I'm not even using it for the functionaility (which owns internet explorer BTW) . I'm using it because of my severe dislike for microsoft.

I'd compile it and try it out, but I've already jumped ship to Seamonkey.

Seamonkey is too bloated for my liking. Its like the old mozilla/netscape application suite, which cause mozilla to rethink everything and focus on firefox and thunderbird.

Yes it does... just 128 Mb with 15 tabs at this time and browsing all day with more than 40 tabs between hours...

If you upgrate you could run into some problems with some of the plug-ins
