Forums - Sony - Best router for the ps3?

I have the Linksys WRT54GL, it's a decent router but during the first year I've owned the PS3, I had constant problems with PSN (getting kicked off randomly, problems sharing connections, not being able to log, DNS errors, etc). I found out that the PS3 had alot of compatibility issues with that my router but after one of the firmware updates and some tweaking with the Linksys router's options, it has been smooth sailing ever since. To be safe, I'd go with netgear.

When you have it all set up, on the XMB, go to Settings, Network settings and Internet connectiong test.

If it says you are a NAT type 2, great. You are all set, if it says NAT type 3, you'll have to make a few adjustments to the router's settings.

I had some problems with my router earlier and not knowing passwords and such, but tiscali were helpful on the phone thankfully :)
