WRONG!  Sega worked WITH Microsoft on the dreamcast to make the online possible.... so don't even try to not give credit where credit is due.  If you have a dreamcast look at the bottom right corner of the front of the machine, it should say windows on it.

You've never been done wrong by a company before. I find that very hard to believe. They are not faceless, nor soulless. They are a living breathing monster that will come into your house and stab you when you're not looking, or try to market crap while you're in a vulerable state. Like when you're super hungry and a burger pops up. EVIL!!!

Get my point? All companies are after one thing; your money. To hate or love anything that views you as an open wallet, shows no loyalty to you and doesn't care one lick about you past how much coin you give them is flat-out ridiculous.

Sony wasn't the first company to bring CDs into console gaming. It wasn't even Sega. The earliest one I remember is the TurboCD game console from 1990, but I'm not sure if even that one was the first one. CD gaming was something that was going to be adopted eventuallly.

Much like how Sony brought CD gaming into the mainstream, Microsoft was the first company to truly perfect console online play, and are still years ahead of Sony and Nintendo in their online service. The Xbox Live service was and continues to be one of the cornerstone innovations in console gaming. Xbox 360 is the first console to truly intergrate the internet into it's very interface and functionality, and continues to do it far better then the competition. And heck, unlike the CD based console, Nintendo and Sony still have yet to adopt an MS Xbox Live like online service for their consoles, and they have failed to keep up with how versitile the service has become. I'd call that a contribution.

I want a 360, but the want keeps going form yes to no, I want one but then again I hear horror stories about the damn thing breaking down, but then again I see the cool games coming out and it pulls me in everytime, I think the ones that do not own a 360 are getting impatient with Nintendo and sony to bring new games out, and looks like MS greased a few palms.never know!

You beat me to turboCD, I had one ;) Though I do absolutely LOATHE MS, it comes from 3 yrs of working at their office in Las Colinas, TX. I worked with a development team and it got pretty scrupulous sometimes. You wouldn't believe the info they would pull off your sys during updates, etc. Then those lawsuits came and it went nuts.

Well that's your opinion. Sounds like you should hate all companies based on their goal: your money. I hate chicks that want me just for my money (of which I have none). Why trust anything that only wants your money? You're going to have choose one over another.

There are many companies out there that do try to please their customers. Some people like Subway. I don't, I think the company as a whole sucks. How is this ridiculous?

I'm saying it's ridiculous because it limits your options as a consumer and wastes energy by commiting an emotion to something that is completely ambivalent toward you as a human being.

Do I like Windows? No, I prefer Macs. Do I own a 360? Yes. Do I own an AppleTV? No, I think it's an overpriced pile of crap. 

I just don't see the point of broadly painting a company as "good" or "bad" when different products may or may not suck. I like to take products on a singular level. I won't boycott any company unless they REALLY do something terrible (Sony came close with their rootkit BS last year). Products are either good or bad, I couldn't care less about the company and I especially don't care about them enough to love or hate them.

Without microsoft, Nintendo woulda sold alot more gamecubes, and probably not have made the Wii or the DS. They woulda just kept improving the graphics and all that.
