They know nothing about games. I guess they only made reviews based on screen shots, what someone said or just played a level or two. Game site reviewers are morons their opinion is no more valuable than the average joe. We believe these critics because they are paid? Bullshit. Game reviewers are full of shit.

I rarely disagree with Yahtzee and some of the Edge guys seem pretty fair.

Yeah Yahtzee is dead on. Other magazines are hit and miss...

IGN has some great reviews but also on the other hand...didn't they review a game and complain about lack of some feature (Ghost Recon for 360 I think) only to have the publisher(ubisoft) reply and say that feature is available on level 2...

Reveiwers are lame.

You see some of their crap reviews and what do you do? You create an account and bash their site.

I buy games without checking reviews and I played them and to me they deserved a 9 out of 10. Check game review site afterwards. WTF Only a 6 or 7. I am like are these jerks telling me I made a bad purchase decision?

I think Gamerinformer is pertty good

Some of GameInformer's written reviews aren't bad but when it comes to scoring, I've found that if I subtract half a point, it's usually dead on to what I would give the game. They, like most other big publications or sites, inflate their scores quite a bit.

I respect Edge's reviews...that's about it, anything that they give an 8 or more is worth buying. Shame they gave all the Halos 10 though...

Huge discrepancies between review sites regards to rating some games ranging from 4's to 9's for the same game from different review sites. You would expect consistency. You do not know which sites are credible these days.

What's the point of having different review sites if they all have the same review/score?

I like going to gamefaqs.com and reading the 3/10 reviews as much as the 10/10 reviews for games because I can see what people really liked and what they really didn't.  If everyone is saying the same things over and over, the reviews are meaningless to me.
