I personally don't believe in "leagues" but I'm not unfamiliar with the term.

If you're a dude, and you like a chick and she happens to be really hot, but then your bud tells you "don't even try. She's way out of your league"

 What does that really mean? 

 Is it a matter of how attractive you are? Social Status? Wealth? Game? Are you too fat (in reference to the other thread, lol)?

its an odd term that people use, in my case id say most girls are way out of my league.

Hmmm... never been in that situation. It's usually the other way around. As long as they're over 15, among other things, and they're on my league

soz matey but for me its the other way around. not even being big headed or nothing but girls usualy come to me. anyway about the league thing about of everything you said really but mainly looks and wealth to be honest and the kind of person they go out with.

Edit: Wait it happened, I asked Onna76 for a date but she denied because of the age difference;..So When a girl is more than 5 year older than you she is out of your leaque I guess =p.

Well, that's the plan once I become succesful, Konnichiwa. Until I have a steady stream of clients, I'm not making the amounts of money lawyers are known for. On the plus side, I get to be on VGChartz more when clients are few and far between. I only have enough financial reserves for a few more months or trying to turn a profit before I'll have to try to find a "normal" lawyer job. :( Sorry for going off topic.

For now, I wouldn't not try to pick up a girl using the "I'm a lawyer" line because I don't want her to expect extravagant spending. :)

This is quite simple.

If you believe that she's out of your league, then she is.

You seem to already understand that that's silly, so go for it.  Let your bud worry about the chicks he's interested in and whether or not they're in his "league".
