the rating system sux!

i think the better is a scale

A to D

without + or -

a good game is an A game

and that's it

the decimal method it leads to fanboism and nothing else

there are so many A games out there

why we should be fighting about what's the best

i don't get it

i enjoy GTA a lot

in the beginning i thought was shit

but now i changed my mind

its an A games like so many others out there

is ridiculous to see scores like 9.8 or 9.4

i mean cmon

its all about taste in the end

GTA 4 is not the best in the series,that spot belongs to SA so if anything its undeserving of a perfect score.

No kidding. This game is fun, but it is ridiculously over rated. I could talk about technical problems with the game until I was blue in the face, but the two primary mechanics of the game are the most damning:

(1) The shooting sucks. The cover system sucks. It's all been done much better before with other games.

(2) Driving is sub-par. It's not terrible, but it is by no means good.

Since these two mechanics are used for about 90% of all of the (repetitive) missions, the game ends up mostly being the combination of both. As GTA shifts toward casual gamers than the likes of Gears of War, Rainbow Six, or better racing games, most of the players probably don't care as much about how it sucks at these two mechanics.

Every day, I'm becoming more and more convinced that I'm the only person on Earth who actually prefers the new style of driving in GTA to the old arcadey style.
