Forums - Gaming - Sega and Platinum Games Teaming Up to Make 3 Games?

Not confirmed officially but many are saying its confirmed.  Apparently Sega and Platinum games are teaming up to make 3 games.  One for the DS, another for the Wii, and another where platforms are unconfirmed.  Here's the details:

• Bayonetta, directed by DMC creator Hideki Kamiya, and is described by the site's correspondent as a "stylish action game" with "a witch battling angels". Apparently she has guns on her feet.
• A science-fiction RPG for the DS called Infinite Line, where you play as a starship captain, customising your ship and crew.
• A Wii game called MadWorld. ...it's, "Black and white Sin City graphics, with red blood. Ultra ultra violent. Fatality moves like shoving a post through someone's head. Chainsaw on your right arm."

Would be interesting, but it would bring on another flood of complaints about how this company isn't called Clover anymore. I hope not, but it seems some people just think the name matters more than the talent.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Oh I forgot Clover changed their name to this.  Didn't even realize that posting it.  Oh well most of Clover's talent is at SEEDS anyways so who cares.

Bah, I hate ultra violent games :(

I know seriously Wii gamers don't want violent games.  We just want a party compilation.  Gosh this is just a bad move.  Should be called Mad Party haha.  /sarcasm

SEEDS became Platinum games.

Lol, I'd rather have an AAA game from them without blood and gore squirting from every side of the screen...

Whatever. We'll see how it is.

So you didn't enjoy RE4?

MadWorld sounds like a fantastic game! Maybe they will throw in a bonus and let us dismember Waluigi

Yes

Those sounds great even if we don't know too much about it, should become a really cool thing.

Come on dude. The Wii is finally getting more diverse games so don't give developers more reason to not make mature-oriented games for the Wii.

First game sounds like it will be PS3/360 and maybe PC or Wii.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
