No Gran Turismo, list is mehh!

GT was a great seller, but that isn't the same as a killer app. GT1 came out in 1998, well after the PS1 was secured as the top system.

yahh whatever post what you want, but for any PS there is no bigger killer app then GT.

He´s kinda right, Gran Turismo make a lot of racing fans realize that realistic racing was possible in consoles. But the things is I don´t think is more important than those games. They are are revolutionary in their own way. Maybe it could go instead of Sonic though...

The thing is that I would put GT3 in the top 15. It's just that not as many people bought a PS2 for GT3 as they did for GTA III or the DVD player.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Again, it's NOT the total sales. A killer app doesnt' mean something sells. It means people buy the WHOLE SYSTEM for that thing. For example, Vice City and San Andreas sold like hotcackes, but weren't really killer apps, since people who bought them already had PS2s.

Plus Gran Turismo's genre, sim racing, hasn't caught on as much as the other genres the games on the list have.

If you looked at the details, you would see it's not just for the N64, the same as the other games are not just for the systems they are on.
