Could someone give me a Banjo 101? I didn't play either of the first two iterations and would like a bit of background. What kind of games were they? Platformer? Were they like the original Rayman series or something along those lines? Perhaps like Donkey Kong Country or something... Enquiring minds want to know...

Platformer. A lot like Mario 64 back in the day. Then again, there weren't many 3D platformers to compare to it in the late 90s.
