No one is accusing you of that, but it's still a use of this site to recruit members for another site.  Would you disagree with that?

I agree with Naz.  Advertising an external site on any forum is grounds for expulsion. 

However, you are correct in that we weren't taking away posts from VGChartz.  I've still been posting 10+ times a day, with only a slight lull around finals.

You act as if we were all like "'F' VG Chartz, the site sucks, etc" where we all still use and like the site. You make us seem like a cult, and you're sensationalizing.

And one more thing, you guys are not seeing that this kind of offsite forums are forbidden on other sites.

I didn't PM ANYONE to join Section 8.   Not 1 person.

All I've done is vote when the community voted on users to come into Section 8.  Your source/mole/rat/whatever is feeding you incorrect information.  Period.  That's the problem that you're having, your information is incorrect.  And you pick out certain threads, certain posts, and certain posters, and paste them together into something that isn't true.  So the comment stands, you're cherry-picking like a mofo.  I'd love for you to out your source.  It'd make this whole conversation fly by much faster, since we can get to the bottom of the propoganda being spewed.  I don't see the problem with doing that, you have no problem airing our laundry, why not air your own?  Who gave you their username/password?


To be fair, Kenzo does delete the voting section of the forum after every session, so ioi wouldn't know about those, despite reading the forums.  But then again, ioi's method of gaining information pertaining to S8.1 isn't the most accurate, as he wasn't there when the events were actually taking place.

I agree with Naz. Advertising an external site on any forum is grounds for expulsion.

However, you are correct in that we weren't taking away posts from VGChartz. I've still been posting 10+ times a day, with only a slight lull around finals.

 


We can´t advertise for external sites ??? I know I never did but other members like... say BenKenobi88 have links to sites like "http://www.left4dead411.com/" in their sig... a external site with a forum... I don´t see how sec8 is worse than anything like that...

Well unfortunately this is exactly how you guys are coming across. Being told that I am powerless to stop you guys and banning you would just make things worse kinda makes it sound like you have already made your decisions a while back...

So by not badmouthing the site we're "coming across" that way.  But we've never said anything of the like.  So does that mean that your basing this off of what you think we mean?

And you are powerless, you have no control over what people do in this world, you have control over your site, VG Chartz.  You don't have control over Section 8.  And banning would make things worse, because there's nothing to ban over, as I said before, you're taking this too seriously.

Back to my question, who tipped you off to Section 8.1, that would really clear lots of things up, I mean, we're sitting here spewing information, and you're being all tight-lipped.  Who was it?

 not totally true, most sites allow advertising in sigs. If you start a thread about some random competing site telling people to join, then thats grounds to ban the prick.
