Gears of War 2 has definitely better lighting effects, is more colourful and has better physics...

Looks amazing. I do not see the huge improvements in the engine (definitely there but Gears1 was no slouch either. )But the level design of this flying level was simply cooler.
But in the end not my game. The settings, character design and in some areas even the engine (shiny matrix look) are not my thing.

Gears of War 2 will be 360 best game of the year. GTA IV graphics both versions PS3 and 360 were well, the weakest part of the game..

Gears of War 2 looks great I will be getting that game. So when is it going to be on the PC?

Gears of War the original was quite a good looking game to begin with, but they have made some improvement on the colour and lighting. It looks a bit better now, it's not a huge difference, but I'm sure they'll make it look a little more better in the time they have until release.

Nice environment and lightning, a little improvement on the texture side, and more enemies at once :P
