The only "interesting" remark I have for COD5 is that they're using the graphic engine for COD4.

Other than that.... I cant wait for Infinity Ward's next game instead.

Word is that Treyarch are busy with the next James Bond game and IW is the developer of COD5.  It was only ever rumored that Treyarch was developing COD5 anyway.

Ah, thanks for that bit of info. Well, then I feel a little easier for the next Call of Duty game then, as long as it doesn't go back to World War II, which I believe that Infinity Ward said that they didn't want to do anyway.

who made CoD:3 for the Wii?

Treyarch??? Cuz i actually liked it but no one else seems to like Treyarch here lol

Not terribly, I felt that Call of Duty 4 was a refreshing experience that finally broke away from World War II. One of the things I was most excited about was that it wasn't taking place in World War II.

When I hear PS2 & Wii I begin to suddenly think N64 graphics on my Wii =(

Then I cry /sob

IF this game doesn't look as polished as Halo 2 on my Wii while playing like some amazing
FPS that only the Wii can offer then I'll prepare my nerdrage and send them naughty emails.

How fast do the develop these things?

Seriously, to have the game playable only a couple of months after the last game was released... Do they have overlapping developments?

Otherwise they are working with ridiculously short dev cycles for modern games.

Yeah, the development periods overlap. I imagine COD5 has been in development at some level for a year or more.

Eidos used to do the same thing with Tomb Raider- probably not a reassuring example. EA does the same with Madden. I'l stop, since I've probably scared the shit out of you with those two.
