I made a list of many titles that I believe need to me left alone and also a list of title I think could now be remade as quality titles. please give your opinions on anything i've listed and add your own title to the lists too. There are just so many sequels and spinoffs of old titles that used to be held as great brand names and are now getting terrible reputations with the newer generation of gamers and it really hurts me to hear it. please post your thoughts on this. Im very interested in them.

Final Fantasy and Street Fighter being left alone are you trying to kill me? and God of War and Halo and Resident Evil? Are you like making a list of my favorite games? Why should they stop those 3? RE 4 was the best RE ever easily, GoW has only two games so does Halo, way too early... And I can't tell you how much I want a Stargox game on the Wii...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

What are you talking about when you say DK game (Dungeon Keeper?) As for some of your other names, God of War only has 2 major titles. I think they are going for a trilogy with that one. Same thing with Halo, I think they even announced that this one would be the last in the series. As for Zelda, GO TO HELL. I don't care how many games they make, as long as Miyamoto is the one making them, they can go nuts. Kid Icarus should be on the list of games to revive. I agree with you on Mega Man, Tony Hawk, Castlevania, and Wario. With the sports games.. they are the exception to the rule. They should continue with the original series like NHL 08 and so on, but spin-offs might be a good thing to halt

Castlevania will never die, neither will Mega Man it needs a good game not to be put away.

Ok you also mentioned Ninja Gaiden... is there any good game that you don't want to get rid of?

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Starfox and Starfox 64 were both really good, but it went kinda downhill after that. Theres only so much you can do that involves flying in a straight line and shooting enemies. I don't think they will stop at Halo 3. What game will they release on the next Xbox? Im looking forward to whatever brand new series Miyamoto comes up with while he's using the restroom. Like pikmin.

@ckmlb Sorry im not trying to kill you. I absolutly love FF 1-9. to me its just lost its charm. and Street fighter II is one of my favorite games of all time. they just can't really do anymore to improve it i dont think (if you have any ideas on how please let me know). I agree that GoW and Halo are great games. I loved them both very much. I just think they are going to get stagnant and repetitive like a lot of other franchises if they dont stop after their trilogies are done. Like Halo Wars sounds kind of lame to me. and Resident Evil 4 was a great game....but i felt that it wasnt a RE title. They could have just as easily used unique characters and called it something else and you would have still have a flawless game. I just think with that one they used the name to sell it when it should have been sold as an IP. @DarkDby by DK i meant Donkey Kong. Sorry. The God of War and Halo i mentioned just above. I love Zelda almost as much as the next guy... and i definitely dont want them to stop making them. i just think it need a hiatus for a while. I think it will feel fresh, new, and exciting again if we didnt see one for like 5 years or so. Kid Icarus could be interesting. I think i've they spent some time on it then it could really be a title worth buying. I know the sports games are an exception i just find the amount of sports games to be absolutely horrendous. every system since NES is just flooded with them. I collect and buy a lot of stuff used so it think its just more of a pet peave that there are so many and with no major changes to them for the most part they have absolutely no value in my collection yet are so abundant. by the way you sounded kind of upset about Zelda. didnt mean to offend you and i didnt mean that Zelda should dissapear at all.

I must have mis-typed. I BOUGHT all the starfox games after Starfox 64. They just weren't that much of an improvement, or that impressive, with Rogue Leader and stuff competing with them. Also that Starfox game Rare made, is more like "Donkey Kong 64 except you're a fox." Unless you were talking about the Pikmin comment, in which case, I also bought both Pikmin games, and enjoyed them. LOL.

As for which games I want to see come back:
A boy and his Blob
Earthbound

But like I said, I'm more interested in new series than seeing the same characters rehashed. Of course I will still buy those games with the old characters, and enjoy them, but I still want some fresh faces or something.
