For now, I go with Tetris, I can play almost any standard version of it for hours on end without dieing. I typically quite after ~1 hour.

Yeah, but so what? There are many versions of Tetris where the speed stops increasing and you can play forever. Any expert player can reach that level. The real challenge is to see what you can do in a game that doesn't go on endlessly, like the old NES or Gameboy versions. I'm quite confident that I can beat anyone on these boards in Tetris, unless you're capable of playing at a world-class level. Some quick pictures from the Gameboy version (one of my favorites):

Best score in Type-A. Still working on maxing out that score at 999,999.

Victory screen from 19-5, the hardest possible setting in Type-B.

Maxing out the score in Type-B. This is the highest score achievable (aside from 200-300 points in Drops). I plan to go back and record a video of myself playing this at some point.

Looking forward to that WiiWare version of Tetris due out soon...

Earthbound (Mother 2) :3 I played that so much, still do. I've gotten all the cool weapons except for the gutsy bat ; ; stupid just luck crap. anyway, yeah, I've gotten like Jeff's super ray from the Broken Satellite I believe it was? Oh, and level 99 with all characters, but that's not that hard.

Also, I've played so much that I can beat the game without reading any of the text^^; I've done that.

The Mother 3 Fan Translation is done! Everyone go get it right now! (Mother3.fobby.net)

Play Earthbound for the SNES ; ; Do it, it's awesome!

My gaming achievements are:

Street Fighter II (SNES) - Used to play with 7 starts and beat the game without getting hit.

F-Zero (SNES) - Had best Mute City time "never" published. I held the record but didn't own a camera to submit proof to Nintendo Power.

Top Gear (SNES) - [notice a trend yet?] Top speed, down hill, with turbo and wouldn't crash.

I highly doubt I could do any of that today though.

I absolutely destroy everybody at Mario Tennis on the 64. None of my friends will play that game against me anymore.

I can beat Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, and World without dying (in under an hour total), I can beat SMB1 in under 6 minutes, and I can beat the first level of SMB1 blindfolded.

If you add my Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert best times for Minesweeper I'm at 103 seconds.

I'm completely unstoppable and undefeated at GoldenEye 64, and everybody at my high school paid me to unlock their cheats, especially the Invisibility one. I got paid in food, money, and M-80s.

I may give you a run for your money in Super Mario World. I can beat the entire game in around 8-9 minutes iirc. Never was one for training to have the best speed run though so I never bothered recording or timing it exactly.

Ooh, I don't know where my video is, so I don't know my exact time.  SMW is really damn short though, almost as short as SMB.  The longest was 2 or 3, but I forgot which.

If I ever find my video, I'll let you know how long it is.
