Aussies, pay some of the highest prices for games and consoles. well its a small country of 20 million people and a small video game industry and all the games are imported. There are no game development studios in Australia to my knowledge unlike Europe, Japan and North America.

australia gets screwed because for a country of it's size (population), the console sales are terrible. so naturally prices will be higher, and it will be overlooked more than other countries.

Wasn't some of Uncharted  developed in Australia?

Isn't surprising at all, GTA4 bundle costs $749, so basically $700 USD ? I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend that over here. People can barely afford food lately, let alone that.
