Okay, what did you guys think of the movie Black Snake Moan, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci?  Your opinions would be much appreciated!

I think it looks.... weird? from the previews i've seen, or saw.

The atmosphere looks great from what I have seen, but I have only seen clips. Some love it, some think it's laughable. It seemed to be marketed kind of like a Tarantino film, and if it was similar to that kind of film I could understand some not liking it. What was wrong with it? Hopefully some have seen it on here.....lol

@Strategy king 92 I will usually ask opinions when I've seen a movie, but I was really curious about this one.

Its a pretty good movie. Great sex scenes in the beginning, then you get to see a scantily clad Ricci for a long while. (I find her very attractive, except the smoking).

Well worth watching.

The premise is rediculous, but the dialogue and music are fantastic. Mr. Jackson put in his best work in years. Unfortunately the flick gets very sappy in Act three and almost becomes a different movie. Overall I highly recommend it. You'll get a few good laughs, some good one liners to repeat annoyingly, and some good songs to search for on Limewire. 4/5 in my opinion.

Yes, we share this opinion of Christina Ricci.  Very attractive.  How bad can the movie be with her like that?  The premise is crazy, but so is Kill Bill and Desperado and those are two of my favorite movies ever.  :)
