I think LBP + Home with be a good combination. But I'm a bit worried about this game.

One word - innovation. Something sadly lacking from most games and films.
Its a risk taking game as a result but I sure hope it pays off.
BTW Source - don't borrow a PS3 to play it, buy the thing and put money behind innovation!
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

If he's only interested on one PS3 game, spending near $460 just to play it is too much.

Seriously, dude... just... wow....
OT: This will be the first game to get me to actually use my PSN account for more than 10 minutes! |
Really? Dude I know more than 20 people that think like me. I never played Mario, Sonic and whatever when I was young. Now I can't understand people 20-30 years old playing Mario or Sonic games. I can't play them for more then 20 min. For me this kind of games are for kids.
I just look in your profile:
" Old gens:
Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Super Mario World"
If you played Mario and Mario Kart when you were 14-16, I played Doom and Need for Speed.
@Played_Out: It is being funded and published by Sony, though. It's a 2nd Party game being developed by MediaMolecule FOR Sony.
@BrayanA: A lot of people DON'T understand that viewpoint. Heck, I don't understand it either. To me a good game is a good game, period. I can go from playing Super Mario Galaxy to GTA4 and enjoy both quite a bit. Granted there are certain genres I don't care much for and as such generally avoid(most notably fps and sports games). Even then there are exceptions.
As far as LBP goes, it's the KEY game that got me to get a PS3. The other PS3 big hitters I either had SOME but not MAJOR interest in(Ratchet & Clank, Final Fantasy XIII) or are from franchises I just don't care for(MGS4, Killzone 2).
| Played_Out said: @PSaiki Because most casual games are simplified to appeal to the lowest common denominator, but LBP retains it's accessibilty while still incorporating a complex physics engine, puzzle-based gameplay and awesome aesthetics. |
Ever heard of Lemmings??
That game is like a spiritual evolution of Lemmings.
A good look and better phisics doesn't change the very essence of the game.
Please, expand your explanation to me.
Why would a "core gamer" want this game?
O yh and i forgot the game makes people laugh and if people laugh then that means its fun right
Inovation.
Creativity.
HD Visuals.
Party game.

@ Kasz216 (or whoever can answer):
What PC games are like LBP? I don't know as much about PC gaming as I do consoles, but I definitely want to hear about a platformer with realistic physics where you create your own levels and share them with friends whom you play with cooperatively and competetively.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.
