Dose anyone know about this? Its a limewire clone, but offers everything pro does for free. So is it worth it? and if i delete limewire do my songs get deleted? how can I move my files to a convinent reachable location. I'm not THAT computer smart so please speak in smaller words.

if you go to my documents. there should be a limewire folder go into there and then there a folder call saved files or something like that. copy all the files you want to keep and paste them to where you want.

Frostwire has a built in chat thing azwell if that interest you.

You files shouldn't be deleted but you could just rename or move the folder they are in before uninstalling. Mine wasn't when I switched to frostwire. I didn't have a choice as my internet provider now blocks connections to limewire as they did to other file sharing networks as they became popular. Frostwire is the only one I can connect to as I have tried many. Speeds are pretty good but I think limewire was only slightly faster.

 the uninstall shouldnt effect the saved folder. I have uninstaled limewire and frostwire before without any negative effects.

 I don't have the folder, it is saved though. I have a ton of song, when I updated my limewire it did remove the older version. How do I know which folder my filesare being saved to. If I lose my limewire files... its all over.

The biggest most delicious irony of Limewire is that you can use it to download Limewire Pro.

Anyway, I strongly advise against using any P2P solutions that utilize the Gnutella network.
