You prolly need to get some challenges on golds. Prolly the insane hard ones like Melon Burst or cow shooting

You need loads and loads of time, patience and some luck to complete them

I can get pretty close to the top 10 for Mario Circuit (Wii version) but I am just slightly too slow to get past the chain chomp on the second lap who jumps out at me.... so I either have to do phenomenally to get past it, or go a bit slower so I can go behind it, as of yet I haven't managed the phenomenal.

MrKillerBees, your name has appeared on my roster now, but I don't know how long it will be till I can see your times.

I suggest going onto the rankings page yourself, perhaps checking the world top 10 (it connects to WFC to do this so perhaps it will help update your times for me)

To everybody, I have 6 clear spaces in my main friend roster now (it was 3 but I deleted some who I have never seen online) I am not sure what to do.

If everyone agrees I could put all or the majority of the time trial candidates (at least those of you who have multiple times worthy of being here) into my second roster so I can view them all at once... however this would mean each of you would have 2 friend codes of mine so if you also are running out of space it might be inconvenient.

If everyone has enough space and is willing though I could do it.

otherwise MrKillerBees I will probably be adding you to my main one considering you are likely to have some permanent golds.

What boost ramp, you mean on Mario Circuit? I don't go over that bit it is way too slow.

I currently have a time of 1:25.0XX but if I can get ahead of the chain chomp I should be able to chop at least .5 seconds if not a full second off.

You seem to have some good times Dtewi but saying "use the ramp" or "use a mushroom" is rather silly, If you are going for a great time you try to stay out of the air and only use the mushroom in the best place, which for Mario Circuit is cutting the corner after the tunnel.

I could choose to boost across the area where the chain chomp is for that lap that he is in the way, but it is less of a shortcut but also too long for a single mushroom (unless I use the ramp but that would slow me down even more)

I know that, I just forgot about it momentarily.

Oh well. Some time soon I hope to have an "all-out" session where I play for many hours defeating first place. I can usually beat first place when I am in the zone. You would be amazed on those days. The GC controller is an extension of my hand. I am the controller. I am the bike. Unfortuantely, those are rare days and that's how I beat Rol.

Also, I know when to use a mushroom. DK Mountain to cut across that small gap (well, not really, a mini-turbo can do) Mario Circuit 3 on the shortcut or to skip that large turn. N64 Bowser's castle at the beginning cutting across the grass. Ghost Valley 2, preferably on a straight. Any one.

I know how to get good times. It was just that I do not know how to do it on Mario Circuit.
