 Well that is true yes, but PS3/360 games will still look better (technically and developer depandant) than Wii or last gen games because they are more powerful consoles, however to be properly worth all that extra money you are paying for the consoles to be HD, you had best have a HD tv (and cables, and often the knoledge of which TV suits which console/blu-ray player and how to set each thing up).

You can in the same way that N64 games still looked better than SNES games even though your TV had the same resolution and base output of both consoles was the same resolution.    But with an HDTV, you will be able to see a much better picture quality.

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

Well it does in that you'll get a far better picture with an HDTV but you will still have better graphics even on an SD TV from the PS3/X360 than you will from Wii or last gen.
