Much like MS get Bungie to put Halo 3 in 720P?

Lol, now which company was it pushing 1080p at 120FPS?

Not a company

A crazy creator.

Which company has a 'premier online service' that you pay for that was down for 1 month?

Which company simple doesn't have a premier online sercice?

Which is free, and offers the same thing?

Yep, it's back up! But I doubt the 360 fanatics will ever let the PS3 fanatics forget about this.

lool, they better,,cause paying for live and not being able to use it for a month is a much worse scenario than not having the GTAIV MP for 5 hours (which is free in the first place)

Which is an awful free XBLA game by the way. I still have it and I haven't even touched it. It's rather boring to watch on youtube videos and its not even worth playing the full game.

Microsoft could of done better giving us an option to pick any XBLA game.

PSN=fail

When are they going to get some semblance of a real online network up? I mean, what good will an XMB or Home be if the actual games don't work?

I'm sitting at home and really excited about picking up GTA and either PS3 or 360. All day I read about possibel freezes - more on the 60g PS3 than anywhere else it seems - and the fact that the online PS3 component is crippled at launch.

Ugh.

I'm not saying thousands of people are suddenly rushing to the 360, but I'd bet there's a few handfuls out there that might have swayed if they'd waited this long to decide.

what the hell are you talking about? the game was fine on the morning of release, but the inevitable happned when everybody logged onto the network. the servers crippled because of overwhelming traffic, not because psn is a crappy service. they obviously didn't anticipate the demand that they recieved, that's all. i'd say it's a good thing, because they probably sold more than they thought they would. anyway, the servers are back online, so they addressed the problem VERY quickly. unlike the xbox live incident at christmas, which took a month to resolve. psn is a very stable network, it just lacks functionality, which alot of you seem to be confusing with each other.

 My thoughts exactly!

Actually it shouldn't be a huge problem. You will expect this since it's so many GTA fans and the PSN probably wasn't maintenance enough to handle GTA IV.

It's my guess. I can understand how Microsoft did a maintenance on the server a couple of weeks ago. More than likely for a Spring Update and for GTA IV.

Sony will clear everything up with a firmware update soon. They did that with Call of Duty 4 at launch of that game and Assassin's Creed had some problems also. Just wait patiently for Sony to answer but meanwhile enjoy the online experience if you can online on the PSN :)

So much trolling, so little time to care lol
