These predictions always make me laugh

Its either Q4 2009 or Q1 2010, but I'm guessing Q4 2009

Mark me down in this thread if I haven't already: When the 360's successor is beginning to be sold, possibly a year after the 720 is released. I think the momentum is too far on Microsoft's side right now considering when the PS3 will drop MS will do the same thing making the Arcade $150 or less in the next year or so. Though a safer bet for me would be saying the Arcade will drop to $180.

Does the question mean 'in weekly / monthly worldwide sales' or 'in installed base' by the way ?

For the former, I think it will happen again soon in 2009, when Gran Turismo 5 releases OR when the PS3 price cut happens. Before MS price cut (last september), PS3 handily outsold 360 worldwide so there's no reason to think it will be different this time.

For the latter, it's harder to know since the gap is still big, between Q2 and Q4 2010 would be my answer.
