You see to take alot of stuff a lil too serious eh.. all he said was his own personal opinion. That being upon the release date of a game, a guess if you will. And just like this thread its a personal guess. And since when would such and educated person like you so much as care what some guy says if he didnt have info to back it up. An ì think`is not as reputable source and does not fall under the ground of starting a rumor.

The guys intensions were fine, it was not his intent on spreading a rumor he was meerly agreeing with you for the most part.

Put me down for Q3 2009. By this time GT5 and FF13 should be out and i feel this will be the date that the PS3 will blow past the 360.

If by "blow past" you mean "never gain a significant enough lead to effect any game's platform allocation status this generation," then you may well be right.

 I'll second that, lots of big franchises hitting, two more xmas seasons.  And like Starcraft said, nothing that will make a company choose one platform over another.  And thetonestarr, the 360 may have outsold the ps3 since the ps3's launch, but the ps3 got to 10 million faster than the 360.  isn't spinning numbers fun?

The problem with a lot of these predictions is they all seem to assume a massive PS3 jump over the 2008 holidays. The problem with that is, it doesn't look like FF, GT or GoW will hit this year. After MGS4 in the middle of the year, all the PS3 has in the way of "big-hitters" is K2 and R2, which are easily negated by GeoW2.

The one serious system seller the PS3 might have is LBP.
