Are you seriously suggesting that IGN abandoned their roots and overturned their entire review system just to avoid docking GTAIV 360 a few points?

They both got exactly the same score, so any differences are negligible. Madden had better graphics and a better score on 360. CoD4 had a slightly better score on the PS3.

This game has identical scores because when playing it you will notice no discernible difference.

Now, do you think they would give a 9.9 or 9.8 to the best game ever just because of such problems?

Because, as they said...

"A 10 doesn't mean a game is perfect -- it means a game is pushing boundaries, expanding a genre, and doing many things to a level so far above and beyond its competitors that they overshadows any flaws."

It's still epically awesome on the 360, though the ps3 version is a little better. There is no need to change the score.

Absolutely.  Ask them why the difference between the versions wasn't large enough to justify even a .1 mark down for the 360.  It would solve this whole argument one way or another.

Funny, I would have considered the PS3 version of GTAIV to be the most direct competitor that GTAIV 360 had........
