I love the new map. It's good for knives and guns. That long alleyway looks fantastic, You can see people a quarter mile away. I also think it's the easiest for Snake, but maybe "The Grad" is.

Damn, CQC is either broken or god awful. I got shot so many times today after I got someone in a choke hold. Maybe I need to try out using the pistol while CQCing. But the knife is so good...
I get tired of Blood Bath because it just becomes a killing spree, which is nice now and again, but the other two maps are way better. They let you play MGO for what it is, not just a TPS jerk-off fest.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
If you guys want to play tomorrow I should be free just about all day starting around 12:30 or 1. I definitely missed playing with people I know today, I think it makes it way more fun. Ckmlb might be absorbed in GTA4.

yeah, CQC is almost better at lvl 0 if you are on Blood Bath because you just throw them to the groun and knife, and it's harder to sneak up on people on the Grad. I like it on the new map, though, but manly because I have lvl 3 Knife now so I can slit throats. The only problem is you also need lvl 1 CQC so you get no speed bonus or anything else. Has anyone leveled anything besides the weapons and found anything useful? I wonder what lvl 3 CQC does...

I can play from then to probably 5 or 6... Unless Mario Kart comes from gamefly or GTA comes from amazon.com...then...alright, I'll still play MGO because the beta will end and I'll be left without it for a month, heh. I'm so glad I stuck with it because at first it felt awful. Now I'm addicted even though I can't aim, heh.
I've gotten level 2 fast movement, but I haven't tried it out yet. I need to see how much of a difference it makes.

@ windbane
I believe CQC Lvl 3 lets you take enemy weapons as well as knock them out significantly faster.
Not totally sure, as I'm still at Lvl 2, but that's what I was told.
Let me know what time you guys play next, finally starting to get good at this beast of a game.

Yeah, I read the thing about disarming them too at level 3 of CQC. We would love to have you tomorrow. We will probably start around 1pm or so. Server might be up a little earlier.

^ Sounds good, if I can make time I'll definitely be there.
I should be free all day tomorrow up until 6:30-ish. Assuming I wake up at a descent hour. :P
