Must be so awesome to sneak in and cut a throat lol, the real MGS spirit.

Do you have knife mastery lvl 3 already? How can i level knife mastery up since i never have a knife to chose in the beggining of the match? Does it come along with the pistol if you have knife mastery? If yes, that is my guess since i see the dude holding a knife, how can i use it?

Sorry for that many questions lol

Nah, I haven't used the knife enough to get that high, although I do know a few people who have.

And everyone starts with a Stun Knife in their inventory (R2 shocks, R1 kills), you just have to switch to it first. There is also an option in the 'Gameplay Options' settings that allows you to have it in your rotation.

Some people are automatic headshots, freakin' ridiculous....

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I probably won't play anymore tonight, but I'll be on tomorrow. I am done with pretty much all of my school work, so I don't feel bad playing video games all day.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. Man, all you guys were, too. I'm stll working on whether I want auto, semi-auto, or single and then the sensitivity. I was using 5 but that's too slow up close but then 10 is too sensitive far away...

You have to set the sensitivity higher or the game is unplayable, IMO. For the normal view, 5 is fine, but for the over the shoulder and first person, it needs about an 8 to even work very well, and even then I find it kind of slow sometimes.

 Like Slums.

@Windbane:  You need to teach me those moves sometime.

I wish MGO came with some sort of elaborate manual, lol.

@akuma587: yeah, I think 8 is working alright for me right now. I'm hitting people a little more. Went through a slump earlier. I find it slow for close quarters but everyone deals with the same thing, and it's not too bad for precision far away shots, either. I'm sure those that can play it at 10 will have the advantage.

@makingmusic476: if my stupid limited edition doesn't come with a huge manual detaling every single move, I am going to be very upset.

I've been trying lvl 0 CQC and Knife mastery and seeing if I can get knife kills consistently with it. If people know what they are doing it's harder, but I want to try out over abilities...throwing people to the ground with no CQC works most of the time and doesn't take as long as choking. I need people to do this stuff to me so I can try to get out of them more. I see fewer and fewer people trying CQC, heh.

Oh, and I'm level 4 now, which I'm sure wont make it any easier for me with the match making...

Well, we could always try training mode. :P

heh, true. I just learned a lot about knife fighting...

Thanks guys. I set my options and i'm liking the knife more than the guns.

Hope there is a game tonight.

Btw, the new map sucks, and the new game mode rocks though i suck at being snake.
