Last of us 2. The gameplay is great but the story and pacing is just awful. No longer having Bruce Straley involved really hurt the game, since he seemed to be the main person that could stop Neil from using his worst ideas. I don't think it's a coincidence that a lot of the ideas rejected for the first game ended up appearing in the 2nd.

Gta v. This is probably a controversial pick, but I just hate almost everything about this game. The characters, dialogue, story, gameplay and missions are all pretty bad. It baffles me that rockstar get away with issues that other companies are crucified for.

Mario sunshine. I don't hate this game, it has a lot of stuff that I like, but it is such a huge step down from 64. The game feels borderline unfinished at times.

New super mario bros u. I haven't played the 3ds or Wii games. I loved the first game on the ds, played through it so many times. I've tried so many times to get through NSMBU but I can never bring myself to finish it. It is just so bland in almost every way.

I loved NSMB DS, Wii was pretty good as it was the first one with multiplayer and the first 2d mario on console in AGES. But by the time they got to NSMB2 I was checking out. It just started feeling like them pumping out the same game again and again. Didn't help that NSMB2 was short as hell, spent £40 on it and finished it in no time. NSMB2 and NSMBU coming out the same year as each other didn't help my perception that they were just uninspired and milking the series at that point.

I only played the first world or two of NSMBU.
