 Thanks for the great feedback, on topic, well sometimes looks like they are trying really hard to get closer to that level, but stuff like the "photoshoped" picks shows how far or close are from that level...

Still I´m saving a little hope, but I´m not expecting too much...

Does the creator of this thread say anything about Killzone 2 being the best FPS ever?

anyways, I dont think that was in game for sure, but the final game should look pretty close. They should show some new footage at this years E3

 


 We'll probably get something from Sony Gamer's Day on May 6th.

I'd like to see what improvements they've made since E3 '07. I mean, I highly doubt that it'll look like the CGI trailer the next time we see it (unless they're planning to blow my mind this summer o_0) so I'd like to see what graphical differences there are between the 'pre-alpha' and the newest builds of the game.

Namely, I'd like to see more of the game and more of the actual gameplay.

My dirty little secret is that I actually liked Killzone 1. I know that frame rate sucked but the game was cool...

So I was totally blown away in 2005 when i saw that trailer...Once I realized it was not in game, i figured they were taking their sweet ass time with the game in order to have it look like that. So I guess we will see once E3 rolls along this year. If everything goes well I will have my second PS3 game purchase...considering I am buying ps3 the day mgs4 comes out.

@Pete-Beast,

Actually, I think your statement should be switched to "Doesn't Killzone 2 look a lot and play a lot like COD4?"

Killzone 2's gameplay was described by the people who were given the chance to play it in the private showing of it that it things felt similar to the way the Call of Duty games play. Seeing as Call of Duty 4 is Call of Duty 2 with a new coat of paint, I would think that the Call of Duty series would have been an inspiration.
