Disagree. Hilliarious.
The Casual Entertainment Label of Electronic Arts isn't likely to develop any game for the PS3. Doing so exists outside of their mandate, and outside of their coding capacity. This is where the architecture of the PS3 really hurts Sony. Were you Electronic Arts where would you put the coders most experienced with the Cell in the shovel ware division or in one of the high end divisions?
I wouldn't take this as a sign of things to come, or that Nintendo or Microsoft have lined Electronic Arts pockets. The nature of the division probably doesn't allow for them to code for the PS3. What Sony needs to do is create some powerful middle ware for shovel ware. They basically need some kind of Wii or 360 emulator to provide to developers for the low end titles.
Once they do that, and I see no reason why they are not going to. Your going to see more shovel ware on the PS3. Right now its not cost effective, and the expertise in the Cell is too dilute throughout the industry. Most coders have a grasp on the Wii, 360, and the PS2. Much fewer have a grasp on the Cell. Giving them middle ware that lets them treat the PS3 the way they treat the others would do Sony a world of good.
Ironically Sony used to have such a emulator built into the PS3. Were it still common practice for the machine then this game would probably come to the PS3 as well. Unfortunately has made the motto the hard way or no way, and if you can't do it the hard way your left with no alternative.
I would not want to play Monopoly, but there is a bigger issue here. Sony & the PS2 werre the console of choice for hardcore & casual gamers. The PS3 is finally making huge grounds with the gaming community. However this is just the type of game that would have sold the best last gen on PS2. Now it's made for everything but the PS3. So EA believes the PS3 will not matter to the casual market. That makes a full comeback to the leader in the industry very troublesome.
When I saw the title about EA's Monopoly skipping the PS3, I assumed that they were cancelling Madden on the PS3 for this year. ;)
Then I saw it was the "game" monopoly, and not their monopoly on NFL football.
My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.
Wow buying the PS3 was a good choice. This alone upgrades the average quality of PS3 games.
Less EA shovelware is a good thing.
PS3 Casual Domination - RUINED!!
j/k
Does it really matter? The game is released on the PS2, so wouldn't the PS3's B/C take care of it?

Damn, now sony fanboys can continue to brag about the higher average game score on the PS3.
This game will be the lamest thing in the world if it doesn't have online, imagine playing monopoly by yourself against AI....
"EA's Monopoly"
See the irony?
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need...
