Yes, in a month they managed to make the actual gameplay look twice as good. Get real. And no, I didn't see any gameplay. I showed you several minutes of continuous real gameplay. All these videos look like are replay mode. |
You think the footage you showed are from a month ago. Yes thats when they were posted but they were very close to the trailer release, most likely footage from about 3 months ago. Dev diaries as I posted usually within 2 weeks of being filmed. and view film 2 and 3. If you cant see the ingame footage, then your posting on here for what reason?

Just because a video is shown using the POV of the racer doesn't mean it's realtime racing. I'm assuming you are talking about the very quick cuts to the hood view and such. @mrjuju, I'm not saying the game looks like crap. I'm just trying to give people more realistic expectations of what to expect from the game. It's not going to be a hardcore simulation game. It won't be the best looking racing game. I do think it'll be a fun racing game though. I had a lot of fun with Dirt, and I expect no less from this game. I probably won't buy it though. |
Well if you've ever played Forza 2 or GT5P you will notice that even in replay from those angles it looks identical to when driving.(Especially Forza2). With Grid, The views where the wheel is directly in front of camera are definately how the game will look(even the hands and steering wheel turn like the player is flicking the stick) Also when the camera is directly behind the car, as well as the hood. As I said even if they are replay, as it is clearly using in game engine, this is how it will look. (Probably better by the time it arrives.) Play Dirt. Dirt was awesome and this is an enhanced engine of Dirt.
