Forums - General - Netflix: Blu-ray costs more, so we will charge more

I don't pay extra for HD channels even though I have a nice HDTV - it's $10 more a month.
So I don't want to pay extra for my blockbuster account (assuming that block busters charge more for bluray} I get HDDVD for the same price - too bad it"ll be dead soon.

I'm not richie rich, but I wouldn't cancel a subscription over 1-2 bucks.

  2. I was considering caceling my account anyways since I don't have as much as I'd like to watch the movies.
Now I actually have a reason to cancel my account.  I'll probably finish Scrubs and then cancel it.

Did you cancel your cable once you figured out that getting the HD channels costed more?

No. When I signed up for it they were that price and didn't raise them because they didn't feel like making less money (but still making money) later.  Now of they raised the prices later for absolutely no reason other than they want more money then I would be angry.
