That's actually a good point. If you're stuck with one for a year or maybe a few years, N64 makes the most sense.

PS1 has way more games overall, so it would last you a decade or more. 

I guess I missed that part in OPs specifics lol. If we’re talking for just a year, I would definitely take the N64. Because of the huge emphasis on 4 player co-op in so many games, it offers a lot of replyability. Goldeneye alone would probably take a month alone of replays lol
