Zen I don't think racism is the right word here. Try to find a definition on racism that can describe what you're trying to say here.

You could consider it racism by saying they're not even giving Hillary a real consideration, but that's still guessing at the motives as to why they're voting that way.
Apart from just this even not knowing if it's an accurate assumption or not, from what I've seen so far, I agree with my high school civics teacher. A large portion of the population of the USA vote based first on their impressions/ideas of a candidate, and only sometimes actually consider the candidates real positions on more than a handful of issues.

I think the black population voting for a black president isn't racism because they probably have legitimate concerns about whether they can trust a white president to look after their best interests. If Obama was president during Katrina then it probably wouldn't have been nearly as bad a disaster because he would have cared more about the New Orleans population.

It's true that 90% of blacks vote for Dem. (which can be another thread in itself).
but this fact doesn't fit into this thread because Obama and clinton are both Dems.

Bill clinton at one point was considered a "First Black President" so for his wife to only get %10 of black votes is surprising.

If ever there was a Korean running for president, no way in hell 90% of koreans would vote for him/her.

I wouldn't necessarily call it racism. I would call it identity politics. You raised the question if a black candidate was running for the GOP, he would get the vote of the black population. I would beg to differ.

Look at the Leaders of the GOP that happen to be black (eg. Clarence Thomas, J.C. Watts, Condy Rice, Lynn Swan, etc.). They have all been called Uncle Toms. I mean they aren't forgetting their heritage, but rather see things differently and they get attacked by the Democrat machine for being "Off the reservation," if you will.

The fact is that Democrats promise things to the minorities, and rarely finish the promise, but give them just enough to show that they "care." In this way they keep their votes locked up. Also this is the reason why the minorities (specifically blacks) don't attempt the same level of success as other minorities. They are promised these things and (may) feel like they just have to wait for someone to help them, instead of taking the initiative to get themselves up.

I am not an expert in this, but that is at least what I think.

There is a double standard... that's for sure.
