The difference between the PSP and PSOne screen argument is, the PSP would only need the cable/controller accessories function as console. The PSOne however would require you to buy a battery, which is a another product entirely. The battery would need to come packaged in so it would form one whole product. Then people will say "but that's just a laptop". PCs/Laptops are open platforms and consoles are closed platforms.Â Â
