Forums - Gaming Discussion - Headphones/earbuds, that don't make ears hot

My headphones are always dissolving because I use them a lot, but thankfully JBS sells pad replacements for cheap. I've just accepted it at this point.

I support this.
These are great value for the sound quality they provide too.
They arn't pretty but they work well.

They look very itchy. Do you not find yourself scratching if you move your head?

the foam part thats against your temples takes alot of the pressure...  If your worrying about Itchy'ness you need to go in ear.
All these cup over the ear, have that to some degree. This foam and its form, instead of in fake leather, does give more of that itch feel....
the upside is it isn't as hot to wear (if like OP thats a worry for you).  If its hot out, these are perfectly fine outsides (your ears can breathe in them :P)

Another upside thats often disreguarded in the weight of the headphones... these are super light, and thats a good thing.
You know "quality" speakers weigh more... so its thing quality = heavy thing.... yeah, when you need to wear things for long periodes of time on your head thats not true. You want them to be light.  Those big cup over the ear, headphones with thick bands and metal everywhere, and tons of plastic (which might be good for sound isolation ect)... those things can get uncomfortable over time, to wear, while these you can forget your wearing almost.

So their not bad to wear, and the sound quality is really good for its price.
You get alot of bang for buck with these, which is why they are rather popular online.
