I will be providing a table with all the candidates' platforms as time progresses. So if you have any platforms/policies that a candidate has please provide a source for the statement you post. Thanks!

Does this thread cover something that isn't being covered in the US Presidential Election Thread?

I feel like this can be specifically to talk about policies, platforms and personalities of the candidates, since it feels like that isn't being talked about on US Politics [OT] or on the 2024 US Presidential Election thread. It seems that both those threads are actually just the same thread.

@Renamed wanted to discuss about Trump and Kamala, but he thought it didn't need to be said there which is understandable since the conversations on US Politics dont seem to be going that way. This is what he said

So I made this so we can specifically discuss these two points. Platform/policy and personalities of the candidates. Since the other two threads are so wide spread out and seem like the exact same thread saying the exact same thing, one just has more posts from Ryuu96, than the other.

This thread seems like a lot of work for you. I mean, does anybody really care about the other candidates besides Harris and Trump? It's not like those other guys will be invited to any future debate.

Also, the thread title should say "2024" in it.

I appreciate the concern, and yes the other candidates most likely won't be invited to the Presidential debates, but I feel that they at least deserve to have some spotlight and given a fair look over in terms of their policies and personalities.

I will say this, it would not surprise me if Trump attacks Harris's gender. I can see him saying that she is not fit to be President because she is prone to an emotional outbreak or even a panic attack while deciding on US policy towards Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, etc.

There are some women voters here in the US who agree with that philosophy.

I don't see the point in this thread, the Election Thread already specifically targets Harris vs Trump and like someone else said, nobody gives a fuck about Brain Worms JR, Chase Oliver, Cornel West, Randall Allen and Moscow Stein...They're all spoiler candidates who become even more irrelevant than they already are come election day.
