Did you put it on your wishlist on PSN? I get reminders on my phone all the time when a wishlist get a discount or promo.

Kyuu said: *SPOILERS* I wouldn't mind the timeline thing if it turns out well written and impactful. But I'm not getting the sense that it's going to end well. Imagine if they're doing all of that just for Aerith to suffer the same fate, thus defying expectations and replicating the impact of the original death. That'd be cool if done intelligently, but I don't see it. I'd agree that a 1 to 1 remake would be boring. But adding side stories, interactions, etc without changing key plot points should have been the way to go in my opinion. For instance.. Yuffie's additions so far have been great (minus Sonon's stretched out "death" scene). And I generally liked what they did to Jessie, Biggs and Wedge (minus their fate). More importantly... the Remake gave us the precious Betty! |
They're making us wonder and argue whether one of the greatest twists of all time in gaming will happen again, so I'd say they've done something interesting at least.
I've been thinking "seven seconds to the end" might be a hint of some Dark Knight-like sadistic choice involving Aerith's life and someone else's (maybe even Tifa and Barret both) at the end of the game. Sounds like something this Sephiroth might still do to break Cloud's mind. Kitase might be crazy but he also wanted to kill almost everyone in the OG FFVII, after all.
By the way, maybe if EC features 100% of FFVII's scenes we have a faithful remake of sorts right there too. Just like the IX remake is supposed to be.

You are welcome. Some games my son wants but I'm not willing to buy before a 75%+ discount I keep there for the future.

I almost got it during the last sale but decided to wait. I want it to come to PS+ but I think it's selling way to good for Sony right now for them to do that.
The Last of Us Online cancelled. Update from Naughtydog - https://www.naughtydog.com/blog/an_update_on_the_last_of_us_online
A coop based mp with tlou2 would've sucked up all my gaming time.
Sucks this couldn't have been a thing. But at least ND tried something outside their wheelhouse
There goes my most anticipated Sony game. Oh well, let's hope they have Factions included in TLoU3 if that's a thing.
