Remedy giving mixed signals, why not just make all versions $50 then?

oh wow. Metal Gear Solid Delta is for Xbox too? That's huge for me :)

Other than FF16, that's the only other game I was looking for on the Play Station 5.

I hope this is true.

Don't you own a PS5?

I do (as well as the PSVR2) :) And for the Final Fantasy games (16 and 7 remake); I have no choice but if I have; I def. choose to buy the games on my Xbox.
I already made up my mind about having to buy the Metal Gear remake on Play Station too, but now looks lik I will not need it!

Question for yall: How does MS top this in terms of a worse showcase. I'm running through scenerios in my head and I don't see how MS can actually do worse than that lmao.

If they show Starfield, Avowed, Hellblade 2, and Forza (and that's it for first party) plus some Japanese surprises like persona and yakuza, get a nice gamepass deal as well for a fall/winter release and I feel that's the minimum in terms of what they can show that would be better than what was shown.

Only way Xbox does worse is if they just cancel the Showcase.

Funnily enough, sony would look better if they hadn't shown anything today

They could've just had a big 30min blowout just for Spider-Man honestly. That game was clearly well prepared and the real centrepiece.

The smartest thing Microsoft has already done, after not having any new footage on Starfield for so long (a bit too long for my liking) is announcing it'd be getting it's very own long showcase.

Microsoft obviously know by now the one thing people really want to see and are making sure to prioritise it. Whereas Sony gave the impression they'd have a whole host of stuff prepared, but really just had one worthwhile thing and could've shown a lot more of it.

I think if Playstation would have prefaced the show by outright calling it a 3rd party showcase + psvr stuff it would have have set the expactatiin correctly and make the show ok-ish and Spiderman would have acted as a surprise.

And insiders need to just stop talking for once and let the games speak for themselves rather than overhyping shit.

I didn’t even realize that the Payday-like game was from Haven, did Sony seriously buy the studio for that game?

None of their GaaS Games looked that interesting to me, their plan might backfire badly.

Got busy with some customers so just now got caught up.

I mainly just wanted to check in and let y'all know I'm all right. I never picked an accountabili-Buddy.

At least someone liked my accountabili buddy idea! And it's safe to come back. Shika can come back too. Showcase was mid.

With how long game dev time is, think this proves why MS needs to keep buying studios. Hope we get some new toys soon!
