So, it's a "repurposed" level but isn't that image still straight from the Campaign level? Lol. If it is, then we can't really tell much as to how 'complete' it is because the 'repurpose' could be a lot different.

The other two maps look cool though.

The image is definitely from campaign lol, which I don't mind if they repurpose some campaign levels as multiplayer maps, but don't lean into it too much, because that was something I didn't like about the maps from Reach. Bungie pulled I think all the maps from campaign lol.

I don't mind it for a few, but Bungie did take the piss, Lol. Halo Reach was like 80% of its Multiplayer maps ripped from Campaign and the remaining 20% dull Forge creations. Forge has come a long way since...

I'll offer my usual complaint though, I like the look of both maps, especially the desert themed one but...

  • UNSC/Human - 9
  • Banished - 2
  • Forerunner - 3
  • Flood - 0
  • Covenant - 0

+ Two more UNSC themed maps which makes 11, Lol.

Meh. I don't think anyone cares if the maps aren't current timeline accurate.

Nah. You're right, I can only remember one Flood map, but I thought I'd throw it out there for more diversity.

I read the patch notes of Battlefield 2042's Season 3, which I can't believe this game is getting Season 3 before Halo Infinite, BUT, they're adding in XP Boosters in a way I wish 343 would add to Infinite. There's Rare and Epic XP Boosters. Rare lasts the usual 1 hour and Epic lasts 3 hours. What's important though is that the timer will not go down if you're not in a match!

There's been like 5 occasions where I'll activate an XP boost but have spent upwards of 5 minutes looking for a match or the game will crash, or the servers suddenly go down. Happened late last week most recently. Servers went down out of nowhere just 10 minutes after I activated my XP boost. Complete waste of one. It would be great if 343 added this functionality of not counting down your boost timer until you're actually in a match.
