Yeah the price hike was visible on market stores in Europe (France etc) this morning.

While not Xbox related Tim Sweeney is teasing some big news, guess related to Apple.

Sweeney gonna announced that Fortnite will be coming to the Xbox Mobile Store lol.

Lowkey joking but wouldn't be surprised if that does happen. Mobile Store was delayed every time the Epic v Apple lawsuit reached a roadblock.

Yeah, I agree with all of this, "ease of access/use" is the other significant factor as to why people go with consoles over PC, I was just noting that price is also another significant factor or rather, it used to be, at some point it won't be anymore and I wonder how that will help PC with the more enthusiast console audience. For me personally, I would have said price and everything you said were two factors as to why I opted for consoles instead of PC amongst other reasons but price, again for me personally, is quickly not becoming a factor, Lol.

If only somebody was working on a new device that could look and operate like a console, but also take advantage of the PC experience.

Along with just about everyone else at Polygon, I am now out of a job, ending over a decade at Vox Media for me. Working at Polygon was a wonderful experience, and I'm proud of the work we did there. I will be looking for work, as well as starting my own project(s) on the side. Stay tuned!

Sounds like Polygon is dead and GiantBomb was hit by a PG 13 demand from their new owner so they'll be dead soon too.

It's crazy that the gaming industry looks like it's both imploding and being more successful than it ever has been simultaneously.

We've been asked about the origins of our little buddy Crouton's name.

Hazel's beloved companion—and community favorite—is named after our narrative writer Zaire Lanier's cat, Crouton!
