Looks like a lot of reviews for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 are lowered due to pre-patch performance, but seems to be heavily remedied with the day 1 patch. Shame too, because it looks like a great game is there at launch, but, GSC didn't give reviewers the most up to date build of the game.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans seem very pleased though lol. I'm looking forward to playing it tonight!

Based on reviews, Stalker 2 is a great game behind all the technical issues, but apparently the day one patch fixes a lot of the technical issues and a lot of reviewers have reviewed it based on pre-day one patch, even DigitalFoundry mentions that the day one patch has fixed a lot of issues and made significant improvements, so either take the risk in delving in now or wait a few months but without those tech issues it sounds like a solid 80's title even with those issues 76 is a decent score. Cohh is streaming it and loving it.

Seems like they made a mistake in sending codes out before launch but I will wait for more day one impressions from streamers, Steam users, etc. Then decide if it's fixed enough for me to play it soon or in a few months from now. All that being said, it's a miracle is even got out, massive respect to the developers, I don't regret for a second sending them my money even if I'll be waiting a few months to play it.

Stalker fans seem to be loving what they're hearing too in the blurbs about how it plays so that's nice to see, seems like it was mostly let down by technical issues that may be fixed already, my initial reaction was to wait but then seeing impressions people playing it post-patch and the blurbs about the actual gameplay, makes me want to play it sooner.

Not gonna download Stalker 2 havn't played the others one yet. also forgot that Genshin Impact has lootboxes so it is banned in Belgium so yeah bit of a boring day, BF deals aren't great either some seem to be more expensive then they were before on sale..

Finally! Pretty low starting number though tbh.

You don't need to have played the original games. Each of them are upwards of 50-100 hours each lol. It would take forever to get to Stalker 2. You don't need to have played them though. Setting is the same, but completely different story. 

Got to play Stalker 2 for several hours. Already died 8 times lol (the game keeps count) Bloodsucker will one hit you. And already had some good jump scares lol. Performance can certainly be improved further, but no crashes and no major bugs so far. The game is exactly what I was hoping for! Should be in a complete state with another patch or two.

Highly recommend playing with Ukrainian voice over. English honestly sucks lol
