I wonder how much transparency we're going to see from this podcast on Thursday. Have very little faith anymore. Case by case = Xbox going through a wall.

Will you finally clean your room after the Xbox is shattered over your floor?

I hope they do case by case and not only that, the timed exclusivity period is completely different from title to title, some are 3 months, some are 6 months, some are 1 year, some are 2 years, some are 17 weeks. Maximum uncertainty.

You the biggest simp for Nintendo while only playing two of their franchises. UNREAL.

Hope they make FE Engage 2, and cancel Xenoblade.

DAMN, wtf. TOO FAR. Pokemon is great fun still imo despite the technical limitations of the games. I'm still salty about my Legends of Arceus though

Nah bruh, Pokemon gutter trash now. Can't believe I'll still buy it day one regardless.

Ice to all the new PlayStation players in Sea of Thieves.

Perfect gift for some Xbots.

Despite the bugs, isn't the last entry doing good?  There were many articles.

As you know, over the last few weeks there were mass layoffs across Microsoft and Activision studios. Then, last week, it was reported that the Toys for Bob office is shutting down. It was unclear at the time, what was going on. Later it was confirmed by insiders, that Toys for Bob would remain in business. Today, Canadian Guy Eh, a pretty large YouTube creator in the Spyro & Crash world, has uploaded a video on the current state of the studio and he spoke to multiple Toys for Bob employees on this.

Key points:
- not shutting down
- went from 86 to 50 people
- office is closing as the rent lease was running out. They decided to go fully remote because it was too expensive to keep that large office, an old airfield hangar, for 50 people
- Toys For Bob wanted to go remote themselves, not Microsoft
- new projects in the works and they might grow again in the future

He also talked to a anonymous source which he claims has told him stuff in the past that came true and that person said:
"Microsoft is dedicated to Toys for Bob and their IP, so don't worry"

You can give the video a watch here:

In the video it's mentioned that he spoke to sources which said that layoffs were already being planned by Activision before the acquisition and that they were inevitable because of the mass grow in 2020, especially because TFB hired many new people for being a Call of Duty and Overwatch support studio.

I am starting to wonder if those laid off from TfB were CoD support staff.

Wouldn't they just be transferred to other COD studios?

They laid off from the CoD studios as well.

My thinking is they're replacing a lot of CoD support with contractors/outsourcing.

But contractors/outsourcing also has its own set of issues.
