Ugh, I want the Flood to make an actual return!!!! Whether that be in a campaign expansion for Infinite or in the next title!

The Flood are Halo's best enemy in the actual lore itself, Halo 2-3 made them shit to fight but they remain GOATs in the lore and they are terrifying. Made even more terrifying now that they have been confirmed to be able to infect Spartans, not only infect Spartans but logic plague Spartans. It's no wonder the solution to an infected Spartan is to nuke it.

Imagine how much of an emotional mindfuck it would be to have a Halo game with infected Spartans, not only that, it's one thing hearing a marine scream about the Flood but imagine hearing the complete panic and terrified screams coming out from a Spartan as he is infected by a Flood, unable to move, processing seconds as minutes, even the strongest of minds would break from that.

It'd be so much more impactful hearing it from a Spartan...

They'd feel all of this but in a slower perspective to them.

Still better than getting your whole night ruined with nothing to gain from black clothes wearing tuck dents.
